R-Mop is an electronic subgenre defined by whispering or extremely quiet vocals recorded on a whatsapp microphone over bandlab's basic 808 drum machine on a lower volume. If the vocals are extremely quiet there needs to be at least one whispering section of any length. The drum machine has little to no swinging on it. It only has one singular layer of drum machine and nothing else. The vocals need to have 2 or more layers because of how quiet they are. It was made by bandlab.com user "robot maid" in 2024. That's me BTW lol. A song will need to be accepted as an r-mop song by robot maid for it to be r-mop.
